Founder of isoSolutions, David T. Drummond is enjoying a well-deserved retirement at present. David possesses more than four decades of experience in the nuclear medicine industry in North America and Europe. His educational background is a Chemistry degree from MIT plus graduate studies in Radiochemistry at Canadian universities. He has worked in general management, manufacturing, marketing, business development, customer service, distribution, and quality assurance. For five years he was General Manager of a radiopharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Europe.

Prior to joining isoSolutions, Arun Singh worked for more than 20 years in various roles in the Healthcare delivery (Pharmaceuticals, Hospitals, Radiopharmaceuticals, Life Sciences) and Coatings industries. His educational background includes a Masters in Organic Chemistry and MBA. As a certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt, he has worked extensively on business process optimization using Lean Six Sigma and other methodologies. As Project Manager for Montreal based Jubilant DraxImage Inc., he led a portfolio of New Product Introduction projects encompassing concept to launch of Radiopharmaceutical products, including Ruby-Fill ®, Drax Exametazime®. Work experiences with multinational organizations have uniquely prepared him for this management role with isoSolutions team members located throughout the world.

Brings a combination of business acumen, chemicals knowledge and cross-cultural experience that facilitates building sales and brands across the Americas. Professional experience includes regional responsibilities based from Mexico, Venezuela, Argentina, El Salvador, Costa Rica and now Canada. Has a Chemical Engineering degree, speaks Spanish, English and Portuguese, and has managed the Latin American region for isoSolutions since 2013. Sales in the region have grown 150% since that period through a customer-first focus.

33 years experience in the Global Health Care and Medical Research sectors. He has intimate knowledge of global regulatory compliance requirements and regional R&D capabilities. Through extensive travels across Canada, Latin America and Europe, he has demonstrated a solid ability to forge lasting, multi-level partnerships with clients, business partners and industry associations to improve quality of life. José has a B.A. (Business Administration and Political Science) from the University of Ottawa. He holds additional Certifications from Atomic Energy of Canada and the Canadian Society for Non-Destructive Testing (NDE).

Brian Abeysekera, Ph.D. has more than 30 years of experience in the field of radioisotope and radiopharmaceutical development, including production, radiochemistry, quality control, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs activities in the United States and Canada. He has worked and helped several organizations in the nuclear medicine industry including Molecular Insight Pharmaceuticals, MDS Nordion, BEST Cyclotron Systems. During his tenure at Nordion, Dr. Abeysekera helped establish the company as a cGMP supplier of sterile pharmaceuticals in the United States and Canada; designed, developed, and validated aseptic manufacturing facilities; directed scale-up from clinical to commercial manufacturing; and developed chemistry and manufacturing sections for numerous small molecule and biologic products to support FDA submissions. Dr. Abeysekera holds a Ph.D. in synthetic organic chemistry from the University of British Columbia.

Studied at the University of British Columbia and obtained a bachelor’s in Biology and Economics. About 10 years of global sales and marketing experience in the field of nuclear medicine and molecular imaging with a key focus on growing business and strategic presence in China. Special interest in sales of instruments, calibration sources, targets, and medical equipment. Keenly follows and participates in opportunities leading to partnerships, joint ventures, and investments in the nuclear medicine world.

Graduate from Simon Fraser University with a bachelor degree in Computing Science. After 3 solid years in Software Engineering, Eric extended his experience to marketing, international trade and restaurant chain management. With more than 10 years of experience doing business in China, Eric developed practical skills in connecting Canadian and Chinese businesses. Although nuclear medicine is a new territory, Eric has gained solid knowledge in the field and developed numerous expert contacts.

Julian Walcott possess about 20 years of experience in the nuclear medicine industry. Julian holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Carleton University, Ottawa and he holds additional certifications in radiochemistry from the University of Alberta. He has worked at several accredited facilities in Canada, the USA, and Europe and possesses an excellent knowledge of Cyclotrons and PET Radiochemistry. His special interests are in the sales of chemistry modules/synthesizers, medical isotopes, analytical instruments, and cyclotron targets. He will help us in providing sales and service for instruments and support our business growth efforts of the Elysia-Raytest portfolio in North America and the Caribbean
